Spiritual

Recognizing the value and power of the Spiritual Quadrant will ultimately result in the reduction and potential elimination of hopelessness due to intermittent struggles or relapse.

Often ignored or abused, the Spiritual Quadrant is the "glue" that holds all of the quadrants together. Without a healthy spiritual connectedness, individuals have no hope beyond their own devices. They often become resigned, lack genuine hope for behavioral change, and view failure as their fate. Belief in a power greater than themselves provides a healthy perspective and environment for change. Historically, spiritual deprivation causes people to remain stagnant and hopeless in their condition.

Connectedness Counts

If we are struggling and believe that we can just "try harder" to change our behaviors on our own, we will most often discover that we are powerless over our struggles and our life has become unmanageable. This is a place where we have "come to the end of ourselves" and it is clinically called "bottom".  We need help from the outside to deal with what is dysfunctional on the inside.

Connection to God and connection to others gives us what we cannot give ourselves.  Things like hope, strength, unconditional love and acceptance in spite of our imperfections, grace, truth, and the time it takes to move forward into personal victory.  Connectedness to a power greater than we possess: the power of God.  Connectedness to people who will meet you where you are and walk with you through what ever valley in life you are in.

Spiritual connection is represented in many 12 Step Programs that are available throughout the country.  AA, NA, Al-Anon and others represent great resources to pursue in our need for connection.  We here at Life Recovery Skills have found a life-changing, spiritual connectedness program that has been recognized locally, nationally, and  globally as a resource that works.

The program is "Celebrate Recovery". It is a faith-based, 12 Step program where people can come as they are and get connected at many different levels.  It is not just for people who are struggling with alcohol or drugs, it is for people who are struggling with life.  Struggling with stress, abuse (physical, emotional, sexual or spiritual), anger, finances, co-dependency, pace of life, all addictive behaviors, or other hurts, habits or hang-up's.

Celebrate Recovery meetings are available world-wide and here in the Snoqualmie Valley of Washington.  We have found this connection opportunity one of the most valuable resources available for healing in the "Spiritual Quadrant", especially if someone has been wounded in the past by a church or "religious" people.  Here, you truly can come as you are...........
